My interactive map of property value increases by ZIP code in Jackson County, Missouri in 2023, which showed a clear racial and socioeconomic disparity in where the largest increases occurred, won a second-place award for Best Infographic from the Missouri Press Association in 2024.

I wrote two utility articles sharing community resources for opioid addiction and overdose for this deep-dive series, which was a finalist for an IRE award and won the first place Community Service award from the Missouri Press Association in 2024. My articles were adapted into printed zines in English and Spanish, which Star employees distributed in the community at local events in 2023.
